The Dorelab Summer Camp is a 6-days intensive music school, open to students and amateurs of any age and level playing double reed instruments.
Both individual and collective lessons will be offered. Students will be grouped according to their level, so that they can confront themselves both with the experienced teachers of the school and renowned international musicians.
Starting from the Dorelab Summer Camp 2018 internationally renowned guest teachers are invited besides the permanent teaching staff. They add value in line with the Dorelab attitude: to make you feel a member of a great family group!
At the 2018 edition we will have the honor and the pleasure of having with us M° OMAR ZOBOLI (oboe) and M° DIEGO CHENNA (bassoon).
Educational activities:
- Workshops for double reed ensembles from trio to oboe band (oboe, english horn, basson, contrabassoon).
- Individual lessons (for intermediate and advanced students and by choice).
- Training for school examimations and competitions.
- Double reeds laboratory for each level (from the amateur to advanced level).
- Baroque praxis.
- Seminar on body awareness.
During the Campus there will be organised:
- Concert on the mountain (Malga Varmost, m. 1722).
- Happy hour concert.
- Final concert.
- Free entrance to all Anciuti Music Festival Concerts.
Alongside the musical activities there will be recreational activities such as trekking, swimming, Adventure Park and guided tours.
The lessons will take place in the IC of Forni di sopra in via Nationale road.

PARTICIPATION FEES
- € 100 Beginner students and amateurs
- € 150 Intermediate and advanced students
(The fee includes two individual lessons with M° Zoboli and M° Pollastri (oboe) or M° Chenna and M° Calligaris (bassoon)
FOOD AND ACCOMODATION
- Food
- Agreement with Hotel “Davost” (via Tagliamento, 26).
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner €18,50 per day.
- Accomodation
We offer 20 places for free in the council guesthouse in separated rooms for males and females with 4-8 beds. We distribute the places by order of inscription. The guesthouse will be monitored by Dorelab Campus staff.

Summer Camp teachers 2018
- OMAR ZOBOLI, oboe – Guest teacher (22th to 26th August)
He wins in 1978 the first prize at International music competition of Ancona and at the Rassegna Italiana for Young Players of The Italian Television.
He has been Principal Oboe in the RAI television Orchestra, the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, the Sankt Gallen Symphonic Orchestra and in the Basel Chamber Orchestra.
M° Zoboli recorded more then 30 cds spanning from the Baroque music to contemporary music for Accord, Claves, Divox, Ex Libris, Harmonia Mundi, Jecklin, Koch-Schwann, Stradivarius, Teldec ecc.
He teaches oboe and chamber music at Basel Musikhochschule.
- DIEGO CHENNA, bassoon – Guest teacher 2018 (21th to 24th August)
He has been the principal bassoon in the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester and in the European Union Youth Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado.
In the 1998 year he won the “Fernand Gillet International Competition” in the U.S.A. M° Chenna plays as principal bassoon with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the World Orchestra for Peace conducted by Valery Gergiev.
His name appears in many european Festivals together with such importants artists as Heinz Holliger, Alexander Lonquich, Maurice Bourgue, Yuri Bashmet, Patricia Kopatchinskaja. Actually he teaches at the Frieburg Musikhochschule (D) and Novara Conservatorium (I).
- PAOLO POLLASTRI, oboe
Principal oboe and soloist of the Accademia di S. Cecilia Orchestra from 1990. He wins the competition for teaching at the conservatory in the 1991.
M° Pollastri recorded a large part of the repertoire for oboe and he had collaborations with such important composers like Luciano Berio. He is a founding member of the “J.M. Anciuti” Ensemble.
- EVARISTO CASONATO, oboe
He has been Principal oboe in the Slovenian Philarmonic Orchestra from 1993 to 1996. Medaille d’or at the Raincy Conservatory (Paris) in the 1994.
He teaches presently oboe and chamber music at the Trapani Conservatory.
- ENRICO COSSIO, oboe
He has been principal oboe in the FVG Symphonic Orchestra from 2000 to 2009. Since 2009 he is principal oboe in the Mitteleuropa Orchestra – Regional Orchestra of FVG. Since 2016 he teaches oboe at the Musical Liceum ”Dante – Carducci” in Trieste.
- PAOLO CALLIGARIS, bassoon
He has been principal basson in the RTV Lubiana Orchestra from 1991 to 1996. He is the bassoon player in the “Slowind Quintet” and he is principal bassoon in the Slovenian Philarmonic Orchestra since 1997.
- GIORGIO BELLÒ, bassoon
Principal bassoon in the European Union Youth Orchestra in the 2011 he plays with many orchestras, such as the Wiener Symphoniker, Saarbrucken SWR Orchester and others. Since 2015 he is Principal bassoon in the FVG Mitteleuropa Orchestra – Regional Orchestra of FVG.
